- You can insure the vehicle yourself on your own policy, but we shall require proof that you have done so, normally by speaking to your broker or insurance company. If you are self-insured you will be responsible to your insurer for any excess applicable if the vehicle is damaged. If the cost of damage repair is less than your excess, we shall deduct the cost of repair from your deposit. Otherwise, we shall keep your deposit pending settlement of the claim by your insurer, and deduct your insurance excess from your deposit. If you wish us to arrange comprehensive insurance for you we can do so with our own in house insurance company, Absolute Services.
