COMMERCIAL VEHICLE HIRE INSURANCE
RentaMerc Insurance Cover
Commercial vehicle insurance could not be more straight-forward when you hire a truck or van through RentaMerc Self Drive Hire. We can include the price of insurance in the cost of hiring a truck or van, or alternatively you can arrange your own insurance. This must be done by the time you collect the van or truck, and you must produce confirmation of insurance before we can hire the vehicle out.
We can arrange daily comprehensive cover on all commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Weight, with the ability to verify cover there and then in our reception area when you are hiring the vehicle.
To qualify for insurance under RentaMerc you must be between the ages of 25 and 69 and hold a valid driving license with no more than three penalty points. Anything above this and we will not be able to offer insurance, although you can still hire a truck or van if you arrange your own.
In the event of an accident when driving a RentaMerc commercial vehicle under our insurance there is a policy excess of £750.
