In February 2024, our Business Development Manager, Gregg Shannon, met with Matthew Witherow, Kingsbury Packaging's transport manager, who after using another brand for some time, was keen to explore Mercedes-Benz vehicles. After discussing specifications, they chose three Mercedes-Benz Atego's: two Atego 816 Box with tail lifts and one 15t Atego 1518 Box with tail lift on 60-month contract hire, with bodies and tail lifts supplied by Houston’s Coachworks.
The vehicles were all delivered by February 2025, and they will be supported and serviced by MBTVNI during their 60-month contract life. These are their first brand-new Mercedes-Benz Trucks, bringing the total RentaMerc vehicles on their fleet to four with having a Mercedes-Benz Citan 110 Premium Van also.
